Rogue Legacy is back! However, it’s also got an extra 2 right in front of it!
Rogue Legacy 2 is described as a genetic Rogue LITE. This means that it comes with all the trappings of a typical rogue-like (randomized races, evolving characters, and more) however, it also has persistent upgrade options, and perpetual dead heirs. It’s a game where the grind is not required. Do your best and you’ll plunge deeper into the mysteries of the world that is constantly evolving. Or don’t! You don’t have to! If you have a hardcore platforming system paired with a powerful RPG strategy, anyone can win ultimately.

Here’s what Rogue Legacy 2 IS:
An adventure procedurally created. The whole world is transformed each time a new adventure is played, and every run is not identical.
Rogue-LITE. Rogue-LITE. You can beat this game at level 1, but this doesn’t mean that it needs to.
Universal Healthcare. Each child’s situation is unique. One child might have Synethesia and another an pacifist or perhaps big. Socialism can earn you gold points for characteristics that produce higher debilitating consequences than regular gameplay.
Castle Permanence. This is a rebel-like place where the bosses are gone.
Every class comes with its specific set of arms. is now equipped with their own arsenal. You can take on enemies from far with your bow and arrow as the nimble Ranger, or go up close using the huge Battleaxe to become the Barbarian.
Stack Runes. Runes can now stack till infinity. It will take time, but if you wanted to be able to jump penta, as well as lifesteal and hyperspeed, there is a way!
